LDR and SPRINT HEERENVEEN 2018
On this page you will find all information about the 14th Masters’ International Long Distance Races on Thursday, March 15th 2018 en the 10th Masters’ International HEERENVEEN SPRINT on March 14th and 15th 2018.
Please sign up for the competition at the Competition Management (in the press box above the 500m finish):
- Sprint (both days): between 16.30 and 17.30
- LDR 10.000m/5.000m: between 9.30 and 10.30
- LDR 3.000m: between 11.30 and 12.30

Register for the LDR and SPRINT
You can register for these races until 10th March!
For the Dutch competitors: On the regular way via this website (wedstrijden/inschrijven) (also not masters can register)
All other competitors: By filling out the electronic entry form with all data asked available on the IMSSC website.
Masters World Records
Because both races are an official Masters competition, being held in accordance to the conditions of contest and the Regulations of the International Masters Speed Skating Committee (IMSSC) and the International Skating Union (ISU). So therefore it is possible to skate official Masters World Records. Thialf Heerenveen has very fast ice, so the possibilities are certainly there!

The 400m ice track will be open for training on all public hours and on certain periods on the days before the competition. Check for details the Thialf website. The admittance fee for training on public hours is not included in the entry fee of this competition.
